Forgive

I’m living within a painting;
its the only place left to hide;
most suitable for framing;
with my soul residing inside.

It’s a most beautiful landscape;
a place where I’d love to be;
but now, it’s just an escape;
where I no longer have to be

When I Was A Child

When I was a child; I spoke as such;
and my life was all about play.
Now I’m a man; resisting God’s touch;
while facing a brand new day.

Faced with a kingdom; blown all apart;
love is needed; this world, to repair;
each occupant mending a broken

Deeper Feelings

I felt my internal makeup, changing;
something happened I can’t explain;
thoughts of my soul; rearranging;
like being pelted by falling rain.

This “rain” was not even wet;
an energy; I don’t understand;
a higher realm of energy; beget;

engulfed with a sadness, undefined;
waves of sorrow came

The Power Of Love

Reality says it happens that way;
all life is simply reprise.

What will we be when everything dies;
when the universe takes its last breath?
How will consciousness make its replies;
when everything around it is

To Those You Hate

How can they do; all that they do;
how can love be exchanged for hate;
can you forget how they’ve wronged you;
is it even open for debate?

When you revisit the evil they’ve done;
can you even sleep thru the night;
looking back to when it all

My Wish

There’s very little we understand,
of the immense power we hold;
to which we can avail on demand;
but rarely find ourselves bold.

Often we’re serious for a moment or two;
believing in all that we say;
but simply our words lack power to do;
it’s our
