Born Shy
We spend our lives trying to learn;
just who, and what we’re to be;
all of us have our passions that burn;
and a side of us; none can see.
Deep in my mind; I know the truth;

Poems about Reality
Born Shy
We spend our lives trying to learn;
just who, and what we’re to be;
all of us have our passions that burn;
and a side of us; none can see.
Deep in my mind; I know the truth;
tho I’d rather keep living the lie;

Oh Woman, My Woman
Oh woman, my precious woman;
vision of love in the night;
how is it; I’ve come to love you so;
becoming my love and life.
You’re the beauty of God’s perfection;
your features, delicate and precise;
created to live under man’s protection;
In Our Own Way
Thoughts, to us, so precious and dear;
become the new dawn, each day;
we all face life, both unique and austere;

ignoring that others

to those below and above;
believe it; on not; there are those who share;
Why Long For Tomorrow?

filled with heartaches and sorrow;
for all who get in its way.
All those elaborate plans for tomorrow;
soon are pictures; covered with dust;
tho on our future, many of us borrow;
even the interest
An Exercise In Futility
Life was created for peace and tranquility;
in a distant kingdom above;
we have made it an exercise in futility;
vacating the purpose of love.
Perfection was the plan; the Father’s will;
a family is the metaphor of life;
rejection prompted mankind to kill;
gaining
Happy Thanksgiving
This is the day, the Lord has made;
from sorrows, may all be free;
let the glory of God be on parade;
grant us all, the eyes to see.
Just for a day, set your troubles aside;
basking in peace and tranquility;
in the Master’s love, may
