The Quicksand Of Depression
Most of us have felt the pain of depression;
without fully understanding its cause;
it occurs as the result of guilt regression;
one of perfection’s underlying laws.
In the beginning we were only energy;
given God’s gift of consciousness;
a soul; sculpted into what we’re to be;
perfected in God’s righteousness.
Guilt caused us to be exiled from above;
cast down to the earth, below;
life was the object of God’s perfect love;
sent here, in order to grow.
The guilt, we have, is buried deep inside;
we do our best to forget it;
it often surfaces to diminish our pride;
it’s clear, that we regret it.
Guilt is often the cause of depressions;
repressed memories from long ago;
we often address it with our confessions;
understanding we reap what we sow.
We hold on to guilt from other past lives;
without even knowing the why;
even past guilt from husbands or wives;
guilt is why we must die.
Depression is a terrible sinking feeling;
that others fail to understand;
much like dropping from the ceiling;
or sinking down in quicksand.
