A Journey To Nowhere
Life is called a long winding road;
a journey full of determination;
like an ocean; it has ebbed and flowed;
a journey, without a destination.
Some think it’s a road to our destiny;
others claim to hear God’s voice;
many think; the future’s not ours to see;
others suspect unlimited choice.
Most are confounded by time and space;
but time and space are just an illusion;
heaven is mere thought; and wears no face;
leaving our mind to twist in confusion.
There is no somewhere; to which we go;
we are energy; in a realm of thought;
earth is an illusion; where we can grow;
we are love, the Master wrought.
The kingdom of heaven is what we think;
a universal consciousness; perfected;
we and our God, must become in sync;
for life to become resurrected.
All of us must learn to love every neighbor;
forgiving every enemy, we have;
only by love, may we gain God’s favor;
love is hate’s permanent salve.
The future is really very easy to see;
we must learn to love and share;
we must be; what God meant us to be;
or we’re on a journey to nowhere;
