Only Ghosts
Tho we think, we’re each a physical being;
in truth; we all are just ghosts;
consciousness resides in a kingdom unseen;
made in the image of our host.
We are the thoughts in the book of life;
dreaming every life story;
each soul contains a husband and wife;
to God, be all the glory.
Earth is the realm where ghosts are seen;
physicality is merely illusion;
while I’m here; I’m living the dream;
death is the dream’s conclusion.
Thoughts are consciousness; without a face;
words are constructs of thought;
reality is devoid of either time or space;
all, by creation, wrought.
We’re here at the behest of the heavenly host;
created by the Master’s word;
our physical image is the illusion called ghost;
our soul; neither seen nor heard;
Physicality is the dream, or illusion of birth;
life, created out of energy and dust;
our ghost, above, was cast down to earth;
a hell; ruled by hate and lust.
We think this place is heaven on earth;
watched over, by heavenly hosts;
in death, we’ll be returned to our birth;
but, while here, we’re only ghosts.
