You Can’t Buy History
No one can ever buy history;
history isn’t for sale;
all of it, is wrapped in mystery;
its reality’s holy grail.
History doesn’t belong to anyone;
a combination of future and past;
unfinished; belonging to everyone;
reality growing; nothing lasts.
History is nothing but memories;
a past; mostly forgotten;
blown away by a summer breeze;
fruits; spoiled rotten.
History is only a summary of dreams;
memories in darkest night;
nothing is ever; all that it seems;
others are illusions of light.
Precious thoughts cannot be sold;
instead; we ought to save;
gaining more value; when old;
some; taken to the grave.
Consciousness is an eternal foundry;
upon which thoughts are wrought;
awareness unguided by a boundary;
where truth and love are taught.
No one can ever buy history;
history isn’t for sale;
all of it’s wrapped in mystery;
its reality’s holy grail.
