The Voice Of Reason
Often we’ll hear a mysterious voice;
when no one else is around;
especially; on the brink of a choice;
a voice, devoid of sound.
It was, by thought waves, sent;
designed only for you;
usually questioning your intent;
in what you’re about to do.
It is often referred to as a conscience;
a thought process; inside;
meant to prevent, our doing nonsense;
letting conscience be your guide.
What we’d thought; came from within;
was a soundless voice, from without;
like any messages warning about sin;
its whispers became like a shout.
This soundless whisper had much authority;
no matter what life season;
no one can exceed the Master’s seniority;
his, is the voice of reason.
Faith is more than a one way connection;
it’s our open conduit to God above;
thoughts; at the speed of light reflection;
carry more than merely his love.
It’s like carrying on an open conversation;
at any time; and, in every season;
our Master can reach us, at any location;
whispering the voice of reason.
