The Visible Soul
What do we look like when we die;
what illusion takes the body’s role;
we must tell our physicality goodbye;
as, we’re left with our visible soul.
Perhaps we can choose our appearance;
changing it; like changing our clothes;
none of our thoughts meet interference;
and there’s no longer a body to pose.
Our soul is conscious energies;
we no longer have legs and feet;
we come and go; as tho a breeze;
a soul is where like minds meet;
Many dream about seeing God’s face;
as though, God is a physical being;
we recognize God is love and grace;
but his face must remain a dream.
Many speak of touching the face of God;
expecting they’ll, face to face, meet;
such an occurrence would be rather odd;
since they’ll have no hands nor feet.
When the body dies; awareness remains;
either by day; or after midnight;
the dead are devoid of sorrow and pains;
as they’re taken up in the light.
Upon death; all thoughts are a dream;
sight is under thought’s control;
our guilt may determine what is seen;
pure thoughts, see the visible soul.
