The Season Of Introspection
Life was created to be lived in seasons;
experience growing to perfection;
only the Master knows all the reasons;
revealed in a time of introspection.
We spend a lifetime looking all about;
at a reality we don’t understand;
we’re looking at life from inside-out;
all came, from God’s command.
We think we live in a world of our own;
a universe meticulously designed;
consciousness belongs to God, alone;
we are a thought on his mind.
We imagine God as someone up there;
thinking we’re worlds apart;
hoping and praying; God will care;
unaware, we come from his heart.
We live, searching for someone to love;
praying that someone loves us;
unaware God’s within; not just above;
love demands our faith and trust.
We’re part of a universal consciousness;
we’re not outside; looking in;
life is our journey to righteousness;
love can forgive every sin.
We know there’s a time to laugh and cry;
there’s even a season for rejection
there are also seasons to live and to die;
now is our season of introspection.
