The Other Side Of Truth
Truth lies beyond a door; that’s closed;
only by death, may we enter in;
on earth; absolute truth is opposed;
absolute truth is sink or swim.
Some view truth as a matter of choice;
depending upon a point of view;
absolute truth is the Master’s voice;
all must accept it; to be made new.
The other side of truth, is only a lie;
as different as day is to night;
those who speak truth; will never die;
in death they’ll return to the light.
Some consider truth as merely opinion;
as though God allows wiggle room;
they fail to understand God’s dominion;
their sins will lead to their doom.
Many spend their lives, wallowing in sin;
thinking God will forgive and forget;
evil is the web; that these demons spin;
devoid of a sign of regret.
Many think, there are two sides of a story;
recalling the good they’ve done;
not remembering; to God be all glory;
and victory belongs to his son.
Only absolute truth leads to perfection;
anything less, is a lie;
the greatest lie is truth’s rejection;
truth must never die.
