The Illusion Of Permanence

We live in a kingdom created by light;
filled with both sights and sound;
complete with seasons; day and night;
a world resting on solid ground.

Life comes from a universal consciousness;
for such is reality’s foundation;
each soul is a fragment of righteousness;
love demands their salvation.

We believe that we are physical beings;
our consciousness tells us so;
our soul remains in a kingdom unseen;
our thoughts came here to grow.

Many think they will live; till they die;
then, become eternally gone;
this is our season to laugh and to cry;
but, consciousness, will live on.

Consciousness is an eternal awareness;
becoming fruitful, to multiply;
becoming perfect; the ultimate fairness;
consciousness will never die.

This physical illusion is a temporal state;
it is merely our season of dreams;
our time to experience both love and hate;
this life is not what it seems.

Death marks the end of a solitary chapter;
the dream state will always return;
consciousness is our permanent hereafter;
love is a hard lesson to learn.
