A Winter's Day

Sitting at the dinning room table,
so many winters ago;
it almost seemed a fable,
as I watched the falling snow.

For it was half a century of years
since that mid winters day;
with other memories, laughter, and tears,
to wipe that memory away.

But, nevertheless, it still existed,

An Island

An island in the midst of a limitless ocean,
is that which my soul seems to be;
separated from land by simple erosion;
while maintaining connection with me.

I’m not really land at all;
but I come from the very same dust.
For all material, both large and small,

A New Wind

There’s a new Wind blowing;
the evil wind’s all gone.
Away, havoc is going;
and it’s time evil moves on.

Evil laid waste all around;
his reign of terror descend;
all wickedness is drowned;
and now, his reign is at end.

An Energy

An Energy approaches;
its almost always near;
my territory; it encroaches;
it oft embraces fear.

while words often trip and fall;
thoughts can even explain the obscure;
words often say nothing at all.

Thoughts; a mixture

Iceburg

I am an iceburg, on an endless ocean;
searching to find warmer water;
life, itself, seems in slow motion;
like sheep, I’m led to a slaughter.

For when I reach the warmth that I seek;
and into that ocean, dissolve;
I, as a being, will cease be unique;
and

Life

Life is the energy of every day;
the Author of the book;
Director of the play;
and all that creation took.

Reality is what you make it;
it’s all within your mind;
and no one else can take it;
it’s by yourself defined.

Created by your very thought;

Infinity

What do we call a straight line;
does it ever have an end;
how, then can we such, define;
if it ends just where it begins?

Could a straight line, a circle be;
it certainly has not an end?
Can someone possibly answer me;
their mathematics to defend?
