Don’t tell others; everything you know;
your thoughts are always around;
wisdom insists knowledge slowly grow;
in eternity; it shall abound.

Everyone, wants to show what they know;

Why Am I here ?

Our minds explore the mysteries of life
especially, as the end draws near;
our purpose is clouded in darkest night;
dear Lord; why am I here?

I’ve witnessed the sunsets; so many times;
watched new dawns, come into view;
when will the Master close all

To All Those I’ve Hurt

What can I do, to escape my despair;
when depression takes control?
I feel nothing, but emptiness, everywhere;
while sorrows inhabit my soul.

I sense a cloud; surrounding my being;
the background becomes my home;
no longer do I wish to be heard or

One Step From Eternity

In depression; I looked upon a world, below;
tempted to leave life’s fraternity;
in my thoughts; I had no other place to go;
poised, one step from eternity.

Life, for me, had lost all of its appeal;
all futures seemed dank and dark;
the world

The Healer Within

When sick; we seek outside interventions;
seeking someone to help us get well;
many conspire; with the best of intentions;
promoting cures; deadlier than hell.

We seek one; on the outside; just looking in;
hoping, in vain, they can cure our ills;
in reality; very few, even

Our Destiny Awaits

A destiny awaits us all somewhere;
each has something to do or be;
God’s angels often guide us there;
but freedom has never been free.

All pay a price for the life we live;
whether it be great or small;
each of us; within; have love

Love Of The Soul

Seeking love, we look at appearance;
as tho, that’s where love is found;
a beautiful face often runs interference;
tho love may not be around.

Then our attention turns from the face;
studying the body’s physique;
most tend to desire an alluring shape;

My sixtieth reunion, awaits me tomorrow;
but tomorrow has come and gone;
