Most believe in an outside kingdom;
brought about by mystical means;
seeking to live their lives in freedom;
tho this world is not as it seems.

Few consider this, a kingdom of their own;
only a place where they’re born and die;
you might just say;

An Old Little Boy

I find myself living in life’s strange place;
an anteroom to the kingdom above;
although basking in God’s saving grace;

This world was created from a dream;
its beauty exceeds all understanding;
the temperament of man can be extreme;
often, contentious and demanding.

We’re the teabag of life; heated to brew;

Preferring privacy; we close the door;
since we all have secrets to hide;
such is what all locked rooms are for;
not wanting to let others inside.

Many people wear a great many faces;
whispering; not daring to shout;
seeking to remain in other’s good graces;

Actor Without Applause

I feel like an actor on a movie stage;
my script has already been written;
