Rebuffed Again

In many ways I’ve become very unique;
from others rejection; I seem exempt;
in my many failures; I usually self critique;
my greatest challenge; self contempt.

Some seem to exude an automatic attration;
others willingly accept what they say;
it always seems I get a far different

The Hurricane’s Eye

The Hurricane is God’s perfect metaphor of life;
the winds of its power are magnificent;
with strength of a husband; and the peace of a wife;
each one of them; roughly equivalent;

Civilization came to power; by the winds of change;
God’s Consciousness, maintaining

Fall

Fall is a word; peculiar and complex,
it means more that one thing;
sometimes, a result of our poor reflex;
or a season, long after Spring.

A fall can occur; when tugged by gravity;
especially happening when we’re older;
a fall in our stature brings hints of depravity;

Waterfalls Of Sorrow

Waterfalls represent the river of life; descending;
from the garden above to the earth below;
transitioning to waters of troubles, unending;
where the waterfalls of sorrow flow.

Consciousness is the eternal river of life;
always in motion; an ebb and flow;
the sands of time, tend to

The Creation Of Woman

The hummingbird is life’s metaphor of man;
drawn by love’s nectar to woman’s flower;
by process of pollination, when life first began;
all brought about by the Master’s power.

The man commands with power in his voice;
the woman chooses gentle persuasion;

Self Deprecating Pride

We’ve heard and seen self deprecating humor;
it’s a subtle way of gaining attention;
perhaps, it’s our way of excising the tumor;
expecting others; our honor, to mention.

Unfortunately, within; we’ve something to hide;
and we want it to remain hidden;
deep within;

Self Promotion

Most who are born, sit upon a throne;
there’s simply no mistaking;
their place is destiny, for them, alone;
a throne, of their own making.

All were created for love and devotion;
most become held in pride’s jaws;
many remain dedicated to self promotion;
our egos

The Scientific Method

The scientific method is just a name;
like a university’s worthless title;
such foolishness is never germane;
it shall never become truth’s rival.

Running all thoughts through a maze;
by those exceedingly aloof;
only result in a mist and a haze;
