Hello & Welcome to
The Cardboard Breadman

The Aura

An energy source surrounds you;
and tho it, you can’t see;
even though it confounds you;
there’s another around me.

The Aura is the energy presence;
that forms the body you’re in;
energy exuding luminescence.
It’s your body’s energy twin.

Most of us can’t

I Am

I am the general of my life;
the writer of my sonnet;
I open the pages of my book;
and write my life upon it.

I am the diesel engine;
racing down the track;
if I run out of fuel,
I won’t be coming back.

I painted a great

Your Face

What is so special about your face;
that one you’ve chosen to share;
the picture you’ve elected to embrace;
upon which all others stare?

It’s a constant picture of who you are;
you never leave it behind.
From it you’re known, wide and far;
for it

Growing Young

We started our new lives as very old;
we had much we needed to learn;
though empty in knowledge and gold;
youth actually gave energy to burn.

We started this life with new identity;
with knowledge wherever we’d turn;
within us we had a natural affinity;
and a childlike

Waves Of Life

Waves come across the beach;
firmly pressing down on the sand;
all of life is within his reach;
responding to his command.

For he is the Master of his realm;
the captain of all fates;
he’s always found at his helm;
his love, to us; he relates.

He designed

We're Thirsty

What is it that motivates actions and thought:
and dictates the paths that we choose;
that which internally says what we ought;
and governs all points of views?

Why do we feel the way that we feel;
that becomes what we think, say and do;
creator of all, to us,

Weigh Anchors

When the sailing ship keeps drifting around;
it requires something to keep it steady;
it needs an anchor to keep it bound;
till, for sailing, the crew makes it ready.

I feel very much like that ship at sea;
my anchor was lost to attrition;
floating aimlessly around, is me;

Fear Of Success

Fear is the great crippling disease;
it freezes a part of the mind;
preventing success with ease;
while shriveling up your spine.

Fear is brought on by many things;
such as spiders, bees, and bats;
there’s no accounting for all it brings;
public speaking, darkness, and rats.
