Peace In The Valley

Sometimes we obsess over the valley of death;
fear takes us on a neverending ride;
the thought of taking our very last breath,
makes us seek, a knowledgable guide.

How can a valley of death bring us peace;
is the King of Glory in sight?
The place, God promises sweet

The Best Medicine

Laughter is the magic elixir;
soothing all the tensions, inside;
it’s the perfect energy fixer;
the smile, we attempt to hide.

Our smile is the only mask to wear;
establishing collegial bliss;
sending a signal of love and care;
a psychological kiss.

Laughter sends all anger scurrying;

Just A Matter Of Time

Life is not somewhere; out there;
everything resides within;
it was never another place; where;

I’ve served my time; since my induction;

I remain in a constant state of penitance;
for any ill thoughts, I’ve ever performed;
but,

The Serpent

More crafty than other animals made;
the serpent is often given the blame;
coming before man, while on parade;
and “serpent” was his given name.

Immediately after given that name;
we’re told a suitable mate wasn’t found;
the serpent’s complicity was to blame;
and the man was

A Paradox Of Being

All of living, is within our thought;
what we are; is what we think;
reality, itself, is what we’re taught;
physical life is gone in a blink.

Does an outside world even exist;
how could we, for sure, ever tell?
A mind may tell that images persist;
can we
