Opportunity knocks virtually every day;
there’s no lack of people in pain;
someone in stress, is walking your way;
a few kind words will cause gain.
Most regard opportunity as a personal thing;
lifting up your stature, or a monetary award;

We live on the surface of a spinning sphere;
hurtling through outer space;
newer concepts of reality remain unclear;
very few are willing to embrace.
Inside a box, could all knowledge be placed;

I am currently unable to peer out upon life;

ranging from black to white;
a rainbow demonstrates how it cascades;

Light is not all; possessing limitless variety;
the energy called life is a subtle example;

How is it, darkness can come from light;
aren’t they mutually exclusive;
and yet; each day transitions to night;
such concepts seem rather elusive.
Cannot the soul have vision in the night;
