Too Many Yesterdays
Life is a pilgrimage, lived in seasons;
each, tougher than the one before.
Why do we struggle; what are the reasons;
what is it, we all are living for?
We’re taught to live one day at a time;
a task that most are unable do;

instead we’re a soul; seeking elevation;

small, for my age, less than five feet tall;

I will never establish a physical empire;
I’ve neither the strength, nor will;

Most of us, have lived many lives;
all wrapped together as one;
different homes; husbands or wives;

never was it; what it seems;
