Me, Myself, and I

Within a soul there are unlimited incarnations;
each one bearing a specific, unique name;
all of them have gifts; and also; limitations;
and, no two are exactly the same.

Every soul is a unique and consumate actor;
they each have a role to play;
sometimes, their purpose is to foment disaster;
then; they bring forth a new day.

Saul in the Bible was the perfect example;
a murderous, contemptable coward;
his Christian victims were more than ample;
till, as Paul, he blossomed and flowered.

Struck down by the Light on the Damascus road;
he wasn’t given any choice;
a picture of death; upon him, bestowed;
God gave his soul a new voice.

Jonah rebelled against the Master’s will;
then, found himself inside a great fish;
swimming inside; amongst death and swill;
be careful; you might get your wish.

Young David played the role of hero;
slaying Goliath with a sling;
then; dishonored; he became like Nero;
stealing a man’s wife; as king.

The complexity of infinity is misunderstood;
and, tho we may find this thought odd;
souls have within them; evil as well as good;
infinity is an anthology; written by God.
