Lust Versus Love
What is the difference between love and lust;
setting these powerful energies apart;
lust brings a connection; you cannot trust;
love always shares the same heart.
Throughout eternity, every life is interconnected;
each, created to become paired together;
individual souls, with God’s love reflected;
created to live forever.
In the beginning; life was created a duality;
Adam and Eve were created as one;
insurrection changed life into a plurality;
divisions had suddenly become.
Love was the Master’s unifying force;
in love; the two become one;
divisions most often end in divorce;
signifying a marriage is done.
Lust occurs when the two are unmatched;
physical passion was the goal;
as passions fade; becoming unattached;
since both belong to another soul.
Lust most often is the guiding purpose;
especially, when lost and alone;
yet, deep within; beneath the surface;
we hear love calling us home.
Many are the lifetimes, we live, unmatched;
feeling unloved and alone;
lust is a temporary marriage; we hatched;
but, the love of the soul is home.
