Love and Trust
The foundation of love has always been trust;
we must be able to trust each other;
many, sometimes, confuse love with lust;
too much passion can only smother.
Life was created as the complete energy blend;
within us is the diversity of thought;
the love of your life; must be your best friend;
for, by each other; we’re taught.
We can never love someone, we can’t trust;
neither, must be in complete control;
complete parity, in love, is always a must;
true love is the heart of the soul.
Every life must be maintained in balance;
mirroring a gently flowing stream;
man and woman, share different talents;
in love; life is the elusive dream.
Every life has its share of disappointment;
we all have our bumps in the road;
love is the salve; that special anointment;
deception is too heavy a load.
Our lives were designed for a special one;
one who is honorable and just;
one set apart; when life had begun;
one most worthy of trust.
The search for love often seems unending;
but the Master is always just;
many professing love; are just pretending;
God brings a love you can trust.
