Kingdom Of Hatred
Creation began as a kingdom of thought;
where all, who love, could relate;
prodigals rebelled against the love taught;
and were cast to a kingdom of hate.
Prodigals sought to create a heaven on earth;
assuming the Master’s throne;
radicals overthrew the Lord of their birth;
demanding to rule on their own.
The earth first began as a kingdom of night;
where sinners would reap what they sow;
in death; the forgiven could return to the light;
love was the plant that must grow.
Prodigals of God became ruthless and vile;
sin was the weed in the garden;
evil deeds were hiding behind every smile;
sin will never earn a pardon.
A creation of love became melted by hate;
as the rich sought to vanquish the poor;
the rich kings of the earth will not debate;
those who have much; want more.
Now, multitudes make demands of the rich;
many believe they’re simply entitled;
in essence, their worth; they’d like to switch;
arrogance tends to be unbridled.
Many want to kill babies who are unwanted;
pride tells them only their life is sacred;
the idea of killing others, make some undaunted;
welcome to the kingdom of hatred.
