So many seek the road to success;
making it their life’s goal;
while others have wrongs to redress;
serving a more personal role.
When you choose your life’s purpose;
don’t make success be your goal;
a hidden agenda lies neath the surface;
the Master has a much greater role.
Success was never destiny’s goal;
only the fool is destined to doubt;
failure or success is the Master’s role;
effort is what your life is about.
The Master whispered, what you think;
what you think; is what you conceive;
only when the Master and you are in sync;
is then, a time where you believe.
Only when you, believe you’ll succeed;
will you stretch to reach God’s goal;
and the Master will conform to your need;
and success shall become your role.
Not all who believe will achieve success;
success may not be destiny’s role;
perhaps it’s required you suffer duress;
to strengthen and deepen your soul.
Whether you die as a failure or success;
you’ll leave it all behind on a gurney;
and it will stand, as one of God’s tests;
this life’s just one leg of your journey.
