We shouldn’t judge a book by its cover;
at least that’s what a wise man once said;
like mistaking a casual friend for a lover;
we should judge what’s inside it, instead.

All thru our lives we’re beguiled by wrappings;
complexities and complications lie within;
we

We march through life, so oblivious;
thinking that everything matters;
yet, the truth is somewhat incidious;
our fragile existance, it shatters.

We dwell in a sense of permanence;
thinking this life won’t end;
gaining comfort from our ignorance;
then hoping another will begin.

Many believe, as they leave death’

There is an energy from whence it may come;
that creates eternal life, on demand;
a power generated by the Omnipotent One;
its mere wish, becomes a command.

Consciousness is the eternal energy;
capable of morphing into anything;
combining into forms of synergy;
with no limit to what thought can

If I could take your pain away;
for only just a while;
if, with the Master, I held sway;
to cause your face to smile;

If I only held power over peace;
and, like a cloud, it’d descend;
within the soul all tension released;
and such peace would never

If all of life was planned as a book;
surely it was meant to be exciting;
whether born entrepreneur or crook;
I had quite a challenge, deciding.

I wanted to find something to learn;
but discovered I was a slow learner;
it required time; but I had time to burn;

The Ocean; the metaphor of infinity;
its breadth and depth, unimagined;
representing the scope of divinity;
its full consequences, unfathomed.

The Ocean; is a sky, that’s underground;
like sky; that ocean has oxygen within;
another place where life’s breath is found;
and fish can breathe while they swim.

Many speak of seeing God’s face;
as tho, He’s a physical being;
instead of considering His grace;
we’re oft transfixed, with seeing.

Others talk of hearing His voice;
as tho He speaks in our tongue;
thought transmission, is His choice;
for thoughts cannot be undone.
