Worth A Thousand Pictures

It’s said, “A picture’s worth a thousand words!”
although pictures are only illusions;
a picture may portray a thousand birds;
only words enunciate conclusions.

Words are vibrated so as to become us;
pictures are nothing without eyes to see;
words became flesh; and dwelt among us;
and, from those words, came reality.

Words are worth a thousand pictures;
such words as husband and wife;
words pictured God in the Scriptures;
picturing the creation of life.

Words were there to describe the creation;
through words, were pictures painted;
words marked the empty grave of salvation;
by words, angelic beings were sainted.

How can one paint a picture of corruption;
words, alone, can uncover the lies;
complete power has an insidious seduction;
a warm smile is evil’s disguise.

Deceptions are born in the contracts of man;
all contracts are made to be broken;
dishonesty will do everything he can;
making contracts void, or token.

A picture may be worth a thousand words;
but it’s words that make the Scriptures;
all the pictures become faded and blurred;
God’s word is worth a thousand pictures.
