World Without Love
I feel so alone; unbearably sad;
I’ve fallen, below; from above;
loneliness; slowly, driving me mad;
I’m lost in a world without love.
Although passions often run deep;
most involve only lust;
the lack of love; leads me to weep;
love can’t exist; without trust.
My soul lives in a place without time;
a seed in the garden above;
a kingdom where life is viewed sublime;
for it is the kingdom of love.
Love is thought the ultimate emotion;
although, few understand;
passions, often, override devotion;
love is God’s command.
Creation came in mathematical precision;
where two, together; became one.
on earth, our focus has been on division;
in divorce, love is undone.
Wisdom comes by experience and time;
only the old become sages;
it takes a lifetime to make love divine;
love is revealed in life’s pages.
Age is just a number; in the kingdom, below;
true love exists in a kingdom above
it requires lifetimes, to make love grow;
but, I’m lost in a world without love.
