Words Without Sound

Whispers are words in a gentle breeze;
thoughts; even more profound;
thoughts change; whenever we please;
simply; words without sound.

Thoughts are concealed deeply within;
things we’re unwilling to share;
they can be noble; or thoughts of sin;
nobody knows they are there.

Thoughts are often sentences of words;
meant to convey some meaning;
usually devoid of both nouns and verbs;
thoughts require no screening.

Many are a foundation for conversation;
even when we have little to say;
sometimes they’re a prelude to aggravation;
when somebody gets in our way.

Thoughts can be either words or pictures;
floating around in the mind;
stubborn thoughts often become fixtures;
never to be left behind.

Many thoughts are visions of complexity;
whatever the mind can envision;
often leaving us in a state of perplexity;
until we can make a decision.

The greatest thoughts, come from above;
such thoughts often hang around;
those are thoughts of the Master’s love;
all of them; words, without sound.
