I was sailing free on my ship;
big plans; great future to be;
reality suddenly fashioned a blip;
and the future was sailing me.
The winds were pushing in one direction;
directing me to my chosen docks;
suddenly, due to reality’s correction;
my sails took me towards the rocks.
Caused by one of life’s many a storm;
I had little choice, but comply;
for either we all act to conform;
or reality dictates we die.
For evil winds were blowing;
directing the conditions that changed;
our future; the wrong way, going;
it had been rearranged.
Always share the helm with the Master;
for He knows what your destiny is;
He will lead you away from disaster;
for victory is where He lives.
You don’t sail off the end of the world;
you couldn’t do so if you try;
put up new sails and get them unfurled;
for God dictates you’ll never die.
Though you’ve sailed a wrong course or two;
you still belong to the Father;
No matter what, He won’t leave you;
for He LOVES every son and daughter.
