Why Do We Cry ?
There are so many questions to ask;
most of them start with “Why?”
To answer all, is too great a task;
to start: “Why do we cry?”
Many things, can cause us to lament;
often, it’s due to frustration;
like when we’re stuck in wet cement;
or someone spoiled a vacation.
We also cry; when facing great sorrow;
sadness demands we cry;
it’s little help; there’s always tomorrow;
we know; tomorrow, we die.
Many tend to cry; when in great joy;
with tears running down their face;
like a nurse announcing: “It’s a boy.”
they experience the joy of grace.
The joy of love; very often sends tears;
for love is the ultimate energy;
it sends hope to replace all our fears;
love brings both in synergy.
Tears can extinguish passion’s fire;
removing the toxins, within;
all the while; expressing love’s desire;
toxic; are the tears of sin.
Laughter; a medicine; upon the surface;
it rarely has a devious role;
tears are the rivers; flowing for a purpose;
removing toxins from the soul.
