Who Is God ?
Is God a consciousness of infinite synergies;
a compilation of all seen and unseen;
a consuming fire, of everlasting energies;
or simply someone’s vacuous dream?
Logic, alone, speaks to God’s existence;
since, nothing comes out of nothing;
false pride ushers in man’s persistence;
surely such a God can’t be loving.
Who is this God; and how does he appear;
this being of glory and grace;
the one who loves us; and says not to fear;
why can’t we see his face?
God has the courage of a lion; vision of an eagle;
he embraces the grace of the swan;
His passion; is fire; his demeanor, regal;
awakening the sun, every dawn.
God, the creator, is a universal consciousness;
his dominions have no bounds;
he sits on the throne of righteousness;
all his enemies; he confounds.
He sent his own son to come to the earth;
where a crown of thorns awaited;
atoning for the sins of all prodigals at birth;
the guilt of man, vacated.
In the season of death we shall see his face;
as he embraces us with his pardon;
for he is the embodiment of love and grace;
and we are the flowers in his garden.
