When Tomorrow Ends

Many of us live our lives for tomorrow;
for, today, we find is deficient;
currently full of heartbreak and sorrow;
surely tomorrow will be sufficient.

Quickly, tomorrow becomes today;
then; another tomorrow, we seek;
is there a tomorrow; to come and stay;
one; more pleasant, and unique.

Tomorrows continue to come and go;
and most things remain the same;
life is like the ocean’s ebb and flow;
destiny gets all the blame.

Much of life; on circumstances, depend;
we’re always seeking a new role;
disappointing tomorrows must end;
such is the desire of each soul.

Yesterday; a tomorrow, we wanted to stay;
when will another one come;
good tomorrows; swiftly blown away;
till all tomorrows are done.

I yearn for a time when tomorrows all die;
and today becomes a friend;
when it’s peace and joy, making us cry;
and tomorrows come to an end.

Like earth; all tomorrows shall pass away;
as the kingdom of heaven descends;
death ushers in a brand new today;
on the day that tomorrow ends.
