When Fear Dies

We live in a world of physical illusions;
thinking that’s all there will be;
wisdom brings you different conclusions;
it’s merely a dream of reality.

Do others have the same dream, as I;
or, does each one live in their own?
Is this world my place to live and die;;
or, is there another; I call home?

What is that realm I discover in sleep;
that mysterious world of dreams;
whatever I sow; I’m told; that I’ll reap;
nothing can be all that it seems.

During my dreams, I fade in and out;
my awareness ebbs and flows;
consciousness is what life is about;
with experience; wisdom grows.

We think we’ve discovered secrets of life;
but, what about the secrets of death;
this is a season of heartbreaks and strife;
most of us fear our last breath.

Breathing only exists during physicality;
lacking faith; we fear the lies;
an eternal soul is the truth of reality;
death; is a final surprise.

In faith; this illusion comes to an end;
God wipes the tears from our eyes;
beyond this kingdom we shall ascend;
on the day; when our fear dies,
