We Who Know So Little
Wisdom is the most valuable energy;
more precious than silver or gold;
knowledge combines to form a synergy;
and make limitless power unfold.
Man considers himself particularly wise;
creating his self driving cars;
the Master laughs out loud from the skies;
for, God created the stars.
Man puts his stars on a busy sidewalk;
God plants his stars in the sky;
man always likes to hear himself talk;
his arrogance makes God cry.
Which came first; the chicken or the egg;
no one, but the Master; knows.
Who created each arm; and each leg;
and two feet; with wiggling toes?
Who taught us all, to laugh and cry;
and created dogs that bark;
the One who decides if we live or die;
and; in whimsy; created the shark.
Who gave the giraffe that very long neck;
to look over his neighbor’s fence;
did he give the woodpecker his beak to peck;
as a means of self defense?
We who know, that we know so little;
are as ignorant as two peas in a pod;
our wisdom, amounts to less than spittle;
compared to the wisdom of God.
