Waterfalls Of Sorrow

Waterfalls represent the river of life; descending;
from the garden above to the earth below;
transitioning to waters of troubles, unending;
where the waterfalls of sorrow flow.

Consciousness is the eternal river of life;
always in motion; an ebb and flow;
the sands of time, tend to cut like a knife;
life’s sorrows cause life to grow.

Many think that destiny controls life’s flow;
while others believe in free choice;
all in life’s river are predestined to grow;
listening for the Master’s voice.

The river of life will never flow easy;
turbulance defines its path;
the waterfalls of sorrow make us queasy;
it feels like the Master’s wrath.

The river is, sometimes, like a gentle stream;
very calm, and unassuming;
making our life seem more like a dream;
tho, nearby, a waterfall is looming.

Sometimes, we sense there is danger ahead;
tensions become a forwarning;
but, the flow of the river, remains calm, instead;
and darkness, replaced by morning;

Other times, it seems to be smooth sailing;
smiling; we look forward to tomorrow;
the bottom falls out; we’re weeping and wailing;
surprised by the waterfalls of sorrow.
