Water To Wine
Many focus on the miracles of Scripture;
clearly they’re all divine;
a miracle at a wedding paints a picture;
Jesus turning water to wine.
Throughout his entire earthly lifetime;
his miracles intensified;
many much greater than water to wine;
the greatest; when he died.
The greatest miracle, Jesus conceived;
while hanging on a cross, in pain;
forgiving the sins of all who believed;
proving from loss; comes gain.
Man proved too stubborn; to understand;
the real miracle behind the cross;
forgiveness came at the Master’s command;
by faith; once suffering loss.
Forgiving isn’t just a nice thing to do;
it is required for eternal life;
all must forgive; it’s expected of you;
tho; it often cuts like a knife.
How can we forgive the evil among us;
it is more than mere man can do;
but, if we don’t; that evil becomes us;
making us evil too.
The sins of man, were nailed to a cross;
perfection’s sacrifice, from above;
the ultimate proof; gain comes from loss;
forgiveness turns hate into love;
