Walking In Darkness
How can we ever discover truth;
living in the darkness of night?
We can’t expect to uncover proof;
until we have seen the Light.
Night is able to conceal all the truth;
evil usually starts with compromise;
suggesting the ungodly demand proof;
flooding the world with their lies.
Evil rewards those who do his bidding;
for, evil never seeks any pardon;
the righteous find themselves forgetting;
evil was the serpent in Eden’s garden.
Things look different in the light of day;
but, evil won’t give up; or relent;
evil always insists upon getting its way;
and compromise forces assent.
Even during the day; the righteous sleep;
an open mind is easily drained;
tho the righteous have promises to keep ;
compromise keeps them restrained.
There’s no compromise between evil and good;
evil is a cancerous blight on life;
those who seek compromise, have misunderstood;
evil is darkness; good is the Light.
Walking in darkness; the righteous dies;
for the evil one reigns in the night;
all truths are distorted by evil’s lies;
Truth is revealed by the Light.
