Truths We’ve Yet To See

Suddenly, I found myself awaken;
not realizing I’d been asleep;
my consciousness, severely shaken;
prompting my soul to weep.

I felt as though I’d become a mist;
my physical body, gone;
I still remained in reality’s midst;
entering a brand new dawn.

All my surroundings became surreal;
a physical reality was illusion;
the physical world had lost its zeal;
reality become mental delusion.

Physical reality was all I had known;
I thought I was in it’s midst;
suddenly, I felt I was all alone;
reality revealed a twist.

Consciousness became morning fog;
lifting; as time moved on;
the scene had become life’s analog;
soon its image was gone.

My body was devoid of all energy;
perhaps, I had been the illusion;
the scene; orchestrated by synergy;
slowly came to conclusion.

I have no answer to what had occurred;
and the impact it had upon me;
my consciousness; temporarily blurred;
and the truths; we’ve yet to see.
