We think truth is reality, external;
a world existing outside us;
but, truth is actually reality, internal;
a world existing within us.
We think truth is seen and heard;
that our senses control the mind;
but such ideas are simply absurd;
all senses by thought are defined.
Only light is disclosed by the eyes;
mind determines what’s within it;
believe only eyes; prepare for surprise;
there may be pepper spray in it.
What we think; is all that’s to be;
the mind overrides all the senses;
whatever we think, is reality;
only light; from eyes’s lenses;
We think only from ears, we hear;
but they only capture the wind;
deciphering sounds drawing near;
upon the mind, depend.
Who we think; is who we’re to be;
our mind is who decides;
you’re to be you; and I will be me;
within us, our reality resides.
Thoughts are invaded by information;
from sources we don’t understand;
to depend upon senses conformation,
is not how our lives were planned.
We have created our life, within;
and we know what truth’s to be;
discovering where all lies entered in;
the truth shall set us free.
