Tossed By The Waves

I feel tossed by the waves of life;
caught up in its ebb and flow;
enduring all the heartbreakes and strife;
all meant to help me grow.

I’m swimming in an ocean of being;
involving two separate realms;
the upper world is thought, unseen;
God commands both helms.

Many think this world is the only reality;
that heaven is a separate place;
heaven is a realm where thoughts roam free;
there’s only an illusion of space.

This physical life is much like a dream;
created by thoughts on a mind;
life is considered like a living stream;
death leaves all thoughts behind.

Consciousness is the ocean of thought;
from it, all thoughts become;
righteousness is the truth God brought;
eternity becomes its sum.

We live physical lives in abject confusion;
its reality; that we don’t understand;
we putter around in this puzzle of illusion;
while all purpose becomes quicksand.

Tossed by the waves of a conscious creation;
I know not where I’m to land;
all seeking the solid rock of salvation;
must avoid life’s sinking sand.
