Time Is On My Side

I often like to procrastinate;
no need to be in a hurry;
allow myself time to debate;
time should not be a worry.

I allow for adequate time to think;
no decision should be rushed;
even when destiny is on its brink;
choices must be discussed.

What is it with this thing called time;
can it speed up; then slow down;
sometimes it seems to stop on a dime;
is time a king with a crown?

Many think they can control their time;
on their clock they can depend;
time is a rigid form of reality, sublime;
they believe time is their friend.

On earth, time creates many a boundary;
nothing is created, without it;
we might consider time as a foundry;
there’s simply no doubt about it.

Time is God’s patience; victory won;
granting his children impunity;
allowing what’s been; or will be done;
for, time creates opportunity.

God created time; to allow us to heal;
in His truth, all must abide;
time sends Love to end this ordeal;
time is, indeed, on my side.
