Thoughts Of A Forgetful Mind
As I reach an age of forgetfulness;
many thoughts tend to evade me;
yet my mind displays resourcefulness;
giving me visions; only I can see.
They’re not visions in the traditional sense;
but, thoughts; that others left behind;
of their importance; I make no pretense;
they’re thoughts of a forgetful mind;
Most are thoughts about absolute truth;
coming from the mouth of a child;
most of them lacking substantial proof;
many, seem boundless and wild.
Many of them come from common sense;
and are, unarguably true;
many others have an aura of suspense;
representing only my view.
Many regard them; utterings of an old man;
with very little useful to share;
perhaps, some are truths; from God, the I Am;
proving that He is still there.
Though old men can be stubborn as a mule;
God has a love; unlike any other;
his wisdom is shared; uttered by a fool;
never judge a book, by its cover.
God shares truths; any way he can;
heed them; or be left behind;
whether from a fool; or a wise man;
or thoughts of a forgetful mind;
