Thinking Is Believing

Belief doesn’t begin as a wave or a wind;
it’s a thought; we’re able to conceive;
determination causes such thoughts, within;
truth gives us the power to believe.

Thought is truth; the only reality;
conscious is what we stay;
most of us succumb to banality;
living our life; day to day.

Most think they have, but, one life to live;
to them; truth is only a word;
believing they’d rather take; than give;
a second chance; to them; absurd.

To them, life is nothing but a dream;
no one, but them, really mattered;
demanding their way; they scheme;
till their ashes are one day scattered.

Faith lifts us up throughout life;
thoughts; deeply ingrained;
faith conquers sorrow and strife;
most live; to be entertained.

Truth is the obstacle to vicarious living;
only faith allows love to surface;
love isn’t about taking; but giving;
and, love is life’s only purpose.

All thoughts are emotions; created above;
all were given a thought to conceive;
we were created by the God of love;
faith is God’s gift; to believe.
