Think You Know Better ?

We were born in a world of perfection;
created by the Master and Lord;
living under His absolute protection;
yet, by some, it’s often deplored.

Some say it’s too hot; others, too cold;
both days and nights are too long;
some think they’re too young; others, too old;
it all sounds like a country song.

Some boast that their neighbors are great;
others wish that they all would go home;
while many enjoy trying to always relate;
others, merely want to be left alone.

Many seem to think God’s creation’s flawed;
too many things have gone wrong;
but, instead, it’s man, who’s created a fraud;
making creation a country song.

Creation; God’s template; and Master Plan;
the blueprint for all of infinity;
irretrievably broken by the failure of man;
requiring the intrusion of Divinity.

Man was cast out of the world of Perfection;
sent as life’s seed, to the earth, below;
guilty of treason, and his Master’s rejection;
to fit in; man had to grow.

Our rebellion, to God, is a tight fitting sweater;
yet, still, due to love, He draws near;
so, when you think, that you could have done better;
it’s because of you, we’re still here.
