The Vessel
A sailing vessel, the vestige of past;
is traversing uncharted seas;
it’s wooden hull has managed to last;
it carries cargo, intended to please.
That vessel exists for a limited time;
designed to rot and decay;
from the beginning, by his design;
destined to pave the way.
We are a vessel, in the sea of Life;
carrying the cargo of Love;
an energy being; carrying Light;
from the Master’s garden above.
As that vessel, we too, won’t last;
but our cargo won’t ever perish;
our “hull” is diminishing fast;
the cargo’s purpose we cherish.
Love is the fuel; the oxygen of life;
life cannot last long without it;
it strengthens the soul in midst of strife;
there is simply no doubt about it.
This vessel we’re in, is not the first;
and will also not be our last;
we must share our cargo; before immersed;
and all present turns into past.
We need to avoid every temptation;
to divide and become vessels of war;
joined for bonding and restoration;
as that is what Love is for.
The failure of Love is never an option;
all our destiny is meant for above;
for the Master has planned for our adoption;
and inclusion in the Garden of Love.
