The Vanishing Kingdom
I feel as though I’ve lived many lives;
all rolled together as one;
my body battered; barely survives;
and the worst; yet to come.
I experienced it all; both love and hate;
in a kingdom; I’ve learned to despise;
I’ve seen its violence; and cannot relate;
for, this is the kingdom of lies.
I don’t even know; what comes next;
both rich and poor; lie and steal;
intentionally; the simple; made complex;
in a reality; become surreal.
Slowly the world, around me, is fading;
many claiming truths are lies;
while evil, among us, keeps masquerading;
this kingdom is hell’s disguise.
There is no cure for this world’s corruption;
while the devil sits on its throne;
all evil kingdoms await their destruction;
as the serpent throws the first stone.
This kingdom is an illusion; that evil brought;
thoughts creating words and flesh;
created out of pride, and demonic thought;
a kingdom, lacking time and space.
Death is the cure for evil’s permanent malaise;
perfection requires it be vanquished;
this kingdom is reaching the end of its days;
when this image of hell has vanished.
