The Thorn Of Frustrations

Life twists dreams to unexpected complications;
to a point where we can take no more;
elevating all of us to the anguish of frustrations;
so that we just want to even the score.

Frustration is a natural response to opposition;
when pride fails to get his way;
success has always been our supposition;
frustration abides for another day.

Many think they are chosen by destiny;
selected to walk the garden path;
finding future dreams; not meant to be;
expected adulation turns to wrath.

The anguish of frustrations causes us to vent;
as disappointment turns into rage;
knowing all our troubles have God’s consent;
we just want to leave life’s stage.

Frustrations, we feel, all started from within;
tho we needed someone to blame;
it’s like we’re outside; just looking in;
on a kingdom, gone insane.

Anguish is frustrations reaching their peak;
self blame becomes out of control.
Guilt causes emotions, dramatic and unique;
attacking our very own soul.

All were created to the Master’s specifications;
and planted as seeds in the garden above;
we weren’t meant to be the thorn of frustrations;
we’re meant to become roses of love.
