The Tears Of Pride
Tears conceal a great mystery of life;
few understand their essential role;
most think tears are caused by strife;
but tears are shed by the soul.
There’s a reason tears come from the eyes;
they’re the river of toxins, from within;
revealing deep secrets that come as surprise;
they’re the residue, where pride begins.
They serve the same purpose as perspiration;
something within us; must come out;
sweat serves the role of heat regulation;
pride is what most tears are about.
We think tears flow when we're happy or sad;
but, so few understand just why;
some even shed tears when angry or mad;
as tho they’re the body’s reply.
The eyes focus on what we are to become;
while our mind tends to seek to control;
our thoughts, and the Master blend as one;
but, it’s God who created our soul.
We attempt to create our every situation;
with pride, directing our path;
our pride has sent the eyes on vacation;
unable to see God’s wrath.
For God is in control of Light reflection;
pride floods the eyes, when we cry;
there’s no need for tears; with perfection;
God wipes away all tears when we die.
