The Subtlety Of Difference

Those confused, living in this physical illusion;
are often led to a mistaken inference;
causing them to make a flawed conclusion;
not considering the subtlety of difference.

We often speak of the river of life’s flow;
as tho each life is the same composition;
but the diversity in lives continues to grow;
not everyone shares the same ambition.

Each one of us is meticulously designed;
a rose looks nothing like a weed;
the thoughts of each one; subtlely inclined;
each given gifts; according to need.

Although many look the same on the surface;
all have differences embedded, within;
all are tasked with a unique, specific purpose;
it has nothing to do with the color of skin.

No two fingerprints are exactly the same;
and no two snowflakes, as well;
few become noble; others imbue shame;
some seek heaven; others prefer hell.

Each life was created with a gift and a role;
we each have a path we must trudge;
there is value and purpose in every soul;
which no man has wisdom to judge.

Neither race, gender, nor size has significance;
there stands no one, without sin;
only God understands the subtlety of difference;
all must become born again.
