The Purpose Of Memory
Do you recall every job you’ve had;
all things, in this life, you’ve done;
all of those time, both happy and sad;
since this current life had begun?
Memory can be a very selective thing;
all recollections come in their season;
a deeper purpose, these memories bring;
for Everything Happens For A Reason.
The tiniest, most insignificant thought;
within the recesses of our mind;
to the fore, are significantly brought;
for that’s how reality’s designed.
Reality is an energy ebb and flow;
memory is the flow that has passed;
consciousness directs where it’s to go;
for all thoughts are meant to last.
Timing is the essence of everything;
snow doesn’t fall out of season;
long past memories, keep lingering;
without ever sharing the reason.
Most life events, hide their purpose;
and we aren’t destined to know;
acceptance; when no reasons surface;
confirms our ability to grow.
No life, created, is ever insignificant;
every memory is etched in stone;
tho, all created are simply magnificent;
memories prove how we’ve grown.
